International publishes in 2006, a Chinese and English version. The project was set by President Yu Guangyuan of WMO and supported by Mahjong enthusiasts around the world. A continue effort to improve MCR was also initiated by the President Yu Guangyuan.
Chinese, English and Japanese was designated official language of WMO during its congress in 2006.
After years of effort of member organizations of WMO, the Chinese, English and Japanese version of MCR is coming soon.
WMO had took range of ideas and suggestions from member organizations, mahjong enthusiasts and experts, it had MCR a more well layout and presentation.
MCR has been widely used in all kind of competitions, advance exchange among different groups and individual, promote healthy, scientific and friendly mahjong culture.
MCR is ultimate foundation for mahjong refereeing, referee training and other mahjong activities.
We thank all participant parties during editing period of MCR, its include but not limited to member organizations of WMO, mahjong enthusiasts and Organizing Committee of China Majiang Championship.
We welcome suggestions to improve MCR further, and we will try to make it even better.
